Gear checks typically happen after the warm-up session, and before the group photo.
If a participant is denied participation, I may notify the PNOA board using Garmin Messenger on my iPhone before taking the group photo.

Carpool Pickup Info /
When filling out the "Departure City & Nearest Cross Streets / 出发城市及附近主要路口" field on the registration form, please be as specific as possible. This helps greatly with organizing efficient carpooling arrangements.
Failure to do so takes up a tremendous amount of the event leader's time, and will result in a fine of $5 CAD for each offense.
Good examples of pickup locations include:
- 120 St & Nordel, Delta
- Settlers Park / Confederation Dr., Port Coquitlam
- Coquitlam Centre / T&T, Coquitlam
- Oak St & 17th Ave, Vancouver
Providing precise intersections or landmarks like the examples above greatly reduces communication back-and-forth and improves carpooling coordination.
